I am an electrical engineering graduate with a second class lower result 3.04 precisely. And from a federal university unizik precisely. Finished 2012, served 2013 and I've being on the job hunt for quite som time nw wit no invite for any test or interview. I don't knw if I'm d one dat is impatient, or I'm having age restriction issue or my cv is poorly constructed. I have applied to several job opening without invite, please I need ur candid advice if u have being successful wit same grades as I. A second class upper and first class graduate may not understand dis, but some may because they may also be searching. Please some advice from u all will be appreciated. Thanks nairalanders

Give someone -an objective and intelligent friend your CV and a sample of what your application letters look like to criticize for you. Then we can rule those off. Its possible you are not doing something right in that angle.

Alternatively, visit this site and see if you can pick something out of it. www.thekrine.com

Op just do what the dude before me just said. I have a friend who had 2.3 grade and he has been going for interview. Moreso, try to gather relevant skills and training that would cover up your low GPA and leverage your chances of getting employed.

The issue must be your CV (let expert review it for you) or you have been applying to positions beyond/below your qualifications !!

You can pay one or two of the companies you applied some visits to ascertain whatz'up also try and ascertain whether people that applied have been call-up for test/interview !!

Finally, funny but true ..... Pray oo cuz this is Africa , Juju from your village , ehn grin ... Make I shattap !!

My advice to you is to leave out the second class lower part from your CV. Just put a second class. That way, you'll get Test and Interview invitaions where you will be able to convince prospective employers a reason to damn a First class student and give you the job. I have seen it happen!

You have said it all. Your CV is the problem. Do what others have advised you to do and you will see a change.
Hint: Every job have different CVs(The CV you submitted for an operation job, MUST BE different from Marketing job, also different from Entry level job), this earns you an invite, if strictly observed by you.

Goodluck!
