One day after one the classes she came 2 me and told me She liked me. I told her dat she does not need a relationship now bt rather focus on her studies. But i noticed she started avoiding me since then. Why is it dat students dis days ar not scare of their teachers and what can one do to tackle dis kind of issue.

Your student looks up to you for mentorship and guidiance and so do not abuse that. Be friendly but firm and do not try to date or sleep with them no matter the temptation. I have been teaching on and off for the past 10 years and I can boldly beat my chest that I never dated nor slept with any of my students.

I will advise you to be wary of these little school girls who offer cheap temptations in schools today. This is obviously a case of lack of effective relationship management on your part and you Probably have to work on your attitude to work and how you relate with your students both in class and out of it. There should be a professional touch to how you relate with your students if you want to avoid silly or touchy situations. You can never be able to envision the kind of repercussions that may follow, if you happen to be caught in a touchy situation, even if your intention isn't bad. Show authority and give a professional gap between you and the students. This will give you more reputation and the ladies won't be so bold to approach you for those silly discussions. My two cents.
