What kind of friendship do you both have that led you to visiting his place and even go inside his house with him? What were you expecting the both of you will do when alone in quiet serene environment? Bible study? I put it to you that you knew what he will be up to even before stepping foot into his crib. I don't know how long you've known this guy but I am sure he must have made known his interest towards you during the course of the friendship. His reason for using that aforesaid line is because he presumed you knew what he was up to prior to paying him the visit.

On his part, I take it that he's lame and not an affectionate talker, there are better lines he would have made use of in such circumstance, telling a woman she's acting as a kid is a turn off.

It's not a must that a guy romances a girl whenever she visits, especially at the early stages of their relationship (or in Miss Flawles term friendship) but everything is wrong when a girl is fully aware of the supposedly friend's intentions towards her, based on their conversation, and still go there only to come up with a drama.

Given the previous paragraph, I am compelled to ask, albeit in your friend's voice, why are you behaving like a kid? Lol

OP, it's very simple. Many guys (before una begin bash me, I did not say all) act like this towards girls that visit them. Somehow they erroneously assume that if you visit their houses then you obviously want to get intimate with them. whether they have expressed interest or not.

On the other hand, wetin carry you go the guy house? How long have you known him, where did you meet him? To avoid all of this BS do not go to visit a guy that is not your BF or that you do not intend to get intimate with because most of them will try. Highest you'll say no, but to avoid it you can meet somewhere in the open
