My boyfriend just told me he really wants to go back and read medicine because that has always been his dream.After service,I was thinking that we will settle down after at least two years but this medicine issue is killing me.When will he finish the medicine so we can marry.When I told my mum,she said he is trying to dump me,but I don't think so because he asked me if he could pick the direct entry form and I told him to go ahead.I feel like ending the relationship because I can't wait for him to finish the medicine.Am just confuse,medicine is a serious course and he may not think of marriage till after the course.please I need very experienced and mature advice.Thanks

If you can't wait. Move on. He is not obligated to throw away his own dreams so you can answer Mrs. Ask him straight up and tell him that you want marriage. If he is not on the same page, find someone else. All relationship does not lead to marriage

You don't have a problem yet. You'll only have a problem when you discuss your worries and he waives it aside or if you guys had a plan towards marriage in two years and he is suddenly deviating from plan and you both have already talked about it and you aren't satisfied with his answer.

The way it is now, you have no idea what he is thinking. Discuss first, let his answer determine your next line of action.

This is one thing I don't like about nigerians,they are always looking for what to criticise,tufiakwa.Whether it is mother or friend I used,I have passed across my message.Why not focus on the message instead of inconsequential issues.Pls change for good this new year cos critics don't go far.I made the second post because I thought the first one wasn't successful.why am I even explaining myself! What i honestly don't understand is why you are attempting to force marriage on the young boy. Are you even happy around him at all? Or have you just been tagging along for the sake of marriage?
