If Buhari wins, the Niger Delta will want to stop the flow of hte oil!
The Govt of Buhari will negotiate peace with Boko Haram, then send soldiers to Niger Delta.
The oil war will start a again.

If Jonathan wins, the core North will want to finish off his government in one way or the other. Coup, assassination, bombings, etc.
Jonathan has only one term to go! He has nothing to loose, then he would forget any "carrot" and will use a big "stick".
The conflict in the north may snow ball into a civil war.
