David, you're questioning reputations?

Claiming people are insulting?

Jesustityfingxrist.jpg

And I read the article. What little case you have is...well...it's all been said..

All that's left is your endless, ceaseless, inane barking

And to compound on your unrivaled hipocrisy, you claim others are tiring...

@thread, background radiation and other questions (eg entropy as we know it; sr which obliquely leads to the equivalence principle, in a sense, leading to simple conclusions and predictions that have been well observed in nature) lead me to believe this nascent proposition has a long ways to go. I would also say that gr, as of now, satisfies Occam's razor a lot more. However, undeniably, this is good science (this should be obvious, but needs stating because, well...)

Really, there is no need for prolonged offense as this thread is filled with.

Lets keep it professional.

The model is not a standard, I think everyone knows that. Its not that equation of everything we ve been looking for, because it doesn't satisfy all of our observation yet. More work needs to be done on it. Everyone knows that too.

So why the long debate about nothing?

I do.
Do you think I don't? If you would tell me yes, please give me a reason apart from the fact that I would reject your own way of thinking and views, as that does not make you different from me much in that respect.

Yes!!! Just like I always tell folks, Micro-economics ( individuals' and other small entity resource allocations and behavior) is real, Macro- economics ( the behavior of all participants and allocation of resources of the entire economy) is a farce.

Wonders shall never cease!

I commend your maturity in trying to inject some civility into the cesspit that your colleagues have essentially turned the thread into. I read wiegraf's comment with amusement. His is an example of what we get when rational recourse to science becomes impossible, especially when those employing it have nothing of substance to contribute and thus need to resort to personal insults to cover their own deficit of knowledge.

I essentially agreed with your comments. I think the problem is that some here have no real understanding of the issue... So as long as a "creationist" is disagreeing with "science", such a person must automatically be wrong. I asked plaetton to explain the science, all I got back was insults. Go figure.

The multiverse is still a hypothesis at this point so it's premature for you to suggest it's a fact. The theory still currently accepted in mainstream science is the BB.

Don't revert to your default state of folly. In case you missed it, only one of us claims to be a professional scientist, and he certainly doesn't behave like one. If you're looking for civility then clear your eyes and look about, as you're definitely lost

As for what are we discussing here, excuse me, but what is the point of the thread?!

No, very clearly most people don't understand how the scientific method works. At least most in this section.

And there is merit to this theory even if only because it's met a few critical conditions and, better yet, it isn't classical. Won't bother explaining what that is as you're a pro, yes?

You used the word rational with a straight face??

Ah, you were amused! I take you were trolling then. Much better...

PastorKun:

Going back to the creation "theory" it makes sense that the creator is outside our space, time and material world to have been able to create it, that enhances the multiverse Concept. God is outside our space, time and physical universe thus is is not subject to the physical science rules that we know.

basically the same old verbal diarrhea and nothing of substance. You highlighted the word "complement"... i'm assuming you think the idea being propagated by the blog is claiming this is a "complement" to the BB? Which makes zero sense as they absolutely do not reference the BB at all in the sentence you quoted. Last i checked, the theory of relativity is not equivalent to the BB in any way, shape or form.

Like Plaetton, it seems you have not read the article in sufficient detail as to actually understand it. The BB as a theory claims that the universe began at a particular point, the idea the blog puts forward is that the universe never had a beginning... i'm not sure how one complements the other. The very title of the blog is this - No Big Bang? Quantum equation predicts universe has no beginning... basically indicating that both are mutually exclusive. But of course... when you're confused, simply post as many curse words as you know. Your post is an embarrassment to any 5 yr old with a brain.

This will be a tough one for many who believe in a creation myth (Genesis and big bang) to get their heads around, but I'm delighted its now on the agenda.

Any good scientist would mention a "universe as we now know it", implying ignorance about anything that preceeds big bang, while anyone who understands Genesis might conclude "God said" and there was a big bang! The ignorant though, would be arguing that what they believe happened billions of years ago is precisely what happened and some will claim it happened only a few thousand years ago.

We are indeed building up powerful people, but these things take time!
