I just laugh at times when i see people criticising Jonathan... though he is a terrible president BUT is the criticism he gets fair with respect to other past president we see as elder statesman ? Something funny happened not quite long ago President Goodluck Jonathan commissioned Olorunsogo NIPP 750MW Combined cycle gas power plant Phase 2 and everybody started lambasting Jonathan for commissioning gas power plant without gas corridor BUT One of his chief tormentor General Olusegun Obasanjo commissioned Omotosho 450 MW Power plant without SWITCHYARD and nobody said anything. Politically conscious Electrical Engineers over to you. is it that we are just being sensitized or is it a sign of our maturing democracy. |
