Nigerians do not be deceived.. APC has nothing good to offer

APC released an official statement,
claiming that even if pictures of Buhari and
Tinubu robbing Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)
appear on Television that the people will still
vote for the party. Worryingly, the party during
the BUHARIGATE also informed the Nigerian
public that they ought to accept anything Buhari
presents as certificate even if it’s the label
swiped off a loaf of bread. Little wonder then
that a suspicious looking clone of a WAEC
Certificate was scornfully released to the public
via Premium Times after a press conference by
Buhari that had all the aloofness of ‘’I wouldn’t
careless” about it. The matter still drags on in
court and should ordinarily be an indictment
that would have ended the political career of
anyone in a more developed country.
In the Vanguard Newspaper, March 21st 2011
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu made the statement: “What
has Gen. Buhari got to offer? We certainly don’t
need expired leadership as we are offering the
best in terms of brilliance, courage and
patriotism in the class of Sarkozi of France,
David Cameron of Britain and Barack Obama of
the USA.” Fast forward to 2014 and the same
Asiwaju is waving a broom at us screaming that
the same Buhari is ‘’Change’’, the question is;
WHAT CHANGED?
Prior to Asiwaju Tinubu’s statement, Mallam
Nasir El Rufai had this to say in October 2010:
Mallam El-Rufai wishes to remind General
Buhari that he has remained perpetually
unelectable because his record as military head
of state, and afterwards, is a warning that many
Nigerians have wisely heeded. His insensitivity
to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus are
already well-known. WHAT CHANGED?
Today they are in the forefront of selling us
repackaged General Buhari, the savior of the
masses who did exceptional wonders when he
was Head of State. The macabre attempt to sell
off a lie as truth, deceit at integrity and turn
history on its head all in the bid to sell us a
product they rejected unequivocally as not fit
for governance. The nation has been spun into
frenzy with well-orchestrated and calculated
propaganda all in the bid to sell off this rejected
package to the nation as CHANGE, a man they
all agreed publicly in the past that was not fit
for governance.
One would realize that this Change mantra has
nothing to do about change but a mindset that
is been sold to the populace to protect a more
sinister agenda of a particular political bloc. This
is why despite the unprecedented achievements
of President Goodluck Jonathan; the fuels of
ethnic and religious sentiments continue to
generate tension in the polity. It is why people
who have lost out in the power tussle as
Jonathan’s administration fights to break the
stranglehold of an age long cabal, have queued
up behind this thoroughly unelectable despot
screaming the mantra of change yet the stench
of their ill begotten wealth pervades the entire
structure of their party.
Selling us deceit after deceit, from the
fraudulent attempt to pass off their campaign
has been driven by the contributions of the
masses when in actual sense it was financed
from the deep pockets of the cabal and their
acolytes. Telling us that Buhari was fit as a
fiddle, when at the end of the day he has
admitted himself that he actually went to get
treated by his doctors and rest from the rigors
of his campaigning across the nation. A party
that swings from one pendulum to the other on
National issues, first saying Boko Haram should
not be proscribed as terrorists and then
decrying Government for not matching them
with excessive force, today they are talking
about amnesty for the same Boko Haram.
Is this really about Change? Despite the nation
rated progressively on most known
development indices, we are been promised a
change based on false premises. Can such a
Change be an option? Most Nigerians are wise.

The same way PDP floored APC at the debate that is how APC will be defeated at the general elections #GejWillWinAgain.

We have been telling the broom waving camp that Buhari doesn't portend anything different and meaningful.

It's obvious our desperation is about driving us into something that we might find rregrettable in the nearest future. Buhari's certificate saga is being carefully avoided by the APC and it's hypocritical broomers!

There's nothing positive about the change these repackaged thieves are mouthing.

GEJ till 2019.

This is where the writer messed up his bulky writing even though I didn't read through the whole article after seeing the first sentence. APC won that debate fair and square. Funny enough these are stories that one has heard many times over from the PDP camp yet people who are tired of PDPs misrule haven't changed their stance one bit.

Writers like this should channel their time into convincing Nigerians why GEJ should be reelected instead of trying to attack another party/candidate, because the stats show that these actions are working in favour of the opposition. Alas very few GEJites can tell what the cretin at Aso Rock intends to do or has done since he came into power just like Aye Dee yesterday. They just want to force us into voting for a failure grin grin

Oga why are you lying without conscience now? In your heart you know Akin floored that bleached guy especially in the last round. Akin was legendary grin

80% of the commenters on the FP thread were of the opinion that APC won the debate. There was an online poll created immediately after the debate which APC won. I personally think APC won that debate so we all know who is lying here.

First, i find it ridiculous that someone above 20 will sit and be arguing who won debate when the candidates who has the mandate and will take most of the decision refuse to show face.

Apart from the name calling and insult on buhari by AyeD, i think PDP outperformed the APC, if you are talking about personal attack and insult, i think the first guy from APC camp ( my favorite among them ) started it by saying GEJ went to dance a day after bomb blast. That said.

All points raised by APC was countered and APC refuse to do same, on allegations of how buhari sacked over hundred thousand civil servants ( according to them started the crash of our economy ) they also challenged the APC to show the change in the states they govern, those are what i was waiting for in the APC camp and nothing came other than trying to whip up sentiment of how they attacking their candidate.

I think in a saner climes, no one will be discussing APC at this time, what is their reason for asking buhari to boycott debate yet this is the second debate they will be attending under same media house they termed biased and won't be able to give Buhari fair debate against GEJ.

Something is not right

I think this is the best/unbiased comment I read yesterday on that debate.

Boss13:
I just finished watching the debate on YouTube and I want to thank Ebuka and his team for a nice job.

I would be honest, maybe because of time constraint, both teams were unable to address fundamental concerns the way I wanted it (my own opinion). However, the APC team did a better job than the PDP team. In normal circumstances, I would be expecting the opposition to come out criticising and insulting but they showed maturity and explained clearly what they intend to do.

Team PDP/GEJ spent 90 percent of their allotted time insulting the presidential candidate of the APC and failed to tell Nigerians what PDP would do in the next 4 years. I really wanted to know how Jonathan would expand our dying economy and I did not hear anything but cows owned by Buhari and fertilizers, when we still spend trillions importing food in this country. I also was not satisfied with the explanation from the APC team, but they were clear on how they want to expand the economy and provide jobs. I like the alternative market scheme for sourcing finance for small business. That is a wonderful idea if implemented and also the asset based finance scheme for small farmers. I also liked how the PDP team were trashed when falsifying the percentage growth of agriculture to the gdp, which is actually 5 percent and N60 billion spent to buy phones for farmers (priority waste for me). The service sector has been the major contributor to the GDP.

The APC team came from a purview of facts and statistics and I am ashamed that team PDP approach their debate from a degoratory stand view, an approach I would have thought the APC would adopt.

Security was a sensitive discussion and team PDP admitted the president started off badly. The APC team reminded them that with a huge recurrent expenditure for security, you would never get it right. Team APC failed to explain how their presidential candidate would handle security. Even if Boko Haram is wiped off, there are still other insecurity issues in the country. Team PDP did not also elaborate any further. So I would take it that both team do not have clue on how to tackle insecurity.

In conclusion, team PDP found it so difficult to sell their product, which I considered to be bad product.
