The Niger Delta States have been enjoying 13% derivation. They have NDDC and a Federal ministry created for attending to their needs! You now ask what could be on their minds! The Federal Government is not the problem of the Niger Delta, the local leaders are! With the present arrangement, the Niger Delta has no reason whatsoever to be undeveloped! Before they start any nonsense, Niger Delta youths should first hold their leaders accountable for every misappropriation of funds specially allocated to the region. So, nothing but peace should be on their minds! |
