I have taken a stand, yes I have
Recently there's been a lot of information flooding into my heart and the heart of young Nigerians. You'll see APC attack APN, DPD attack PDP. I have heard terrible things about "A", "K" and "Z" to the point I don't know who to believe again. I know you heard all these too, it's like hurricane-bad information has hit us all through the papers, radio, Internet and if you are not careful your thoughts and actions would be biased. It's like the politicians have been paid by devil himself to do more harm to our minds and mindsets, inflicting more wounds to our already bleeding hearts. The world and the whole mankind would always look for someone to blame for this or that.

Some of us have heard and seen so much that hatred and resentment for X Y Z is increased by the day. Most of us have pitch our tents with A B C and turn blind eyes to many "truth" about him/them. We insult ourselves once our interest is tampered with. Some times, I fear what might happen to my generation when these old men are done with setting us against ourselves.

Last night I sat down and called myself to order. They can't break my spirit with their negative vibe. I can't continue to allow them manipulate me and my brothers and sisters. Setting us against each other, worst of it is that they don't tell us the real truth.

Now I have decided to watch what comes into this heart of mine.

I have decided to filter everything I see on the TV, hear on radio, see on the Internet, even things I see on Nairaland Forum.

God help me and my generation, do not let the politicians to destroy us. Help us to stand in You (God) so that we can be useful to our generation. Illuminate our hearts with your light and love that Your purpose and plans for us as a nation comes to fulfillment.
