Dogs are highly revered in western countries as the typical man's best friend, but in some places in Nigeria, the usages to which dogs are subjected are quite bizarre.

A friend's story:

He traveled to this village where "bush method" and "shot put" are used when answering nature's call. On arriving at a particular bush where he was directed to offload his bowel, he discovered some dogs were watching from considerable distance. He maintained his calm as they were not really close coupled with the fact that he was really pressed.

He did his bit and rose up to leave after cleaning up. The dogs watching from afar took off towards him with a speed he could not explain. As he took to his heels, he noticed the dogs did not go beyond where he was standing.

Coming back to check what happened, the dogs had disappeared. And where is the bomb he left behind, they were all gone. grin

shocked, he could not narrate his experience to anyone.

Things repeated themselves when a child of about six months pooed and a dog was summoned. The baby's anus was squeezed out while the dog licked it clean before devouring the remaining thing on the floor.

The essence of dogs in this area is different from what our western brothers use them for.

Lol. Brings back memories of our first dog. Kai, that dog sabi chop sheet. I fear. Everytime my little cousin was pooing, you'll see him patrolling around with his shark eye.

Just thinking about it makes me shudder. He got sick and died eventually. I don't know if it was the sheet that killed him.
