COINCIDENCES? | Jeremiah 29: 11 (TM)

“I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out — plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for”

God says, “He has it all planned out”. This should eradicate our being anxious about everything.

God spoke this of Jeremiah - "I knew you before you were formed within your mother's womb; before you were born I sanctified you and appointed you as my spokesman to the world" | Jeremiah 1: 5 (TLB).

There are two expressions I want us to look at in the above passage. The expressions are ‘I Formed’ and ‘I Knew’.

In Hebrew, ‘I Formed’ is interpreted as yâtsar (yaw-tsar’). Literally, it speaks of; to squeeze into shape - to mould into a form; especially as a potter. Figuratively, to determine, that is, form a resolution. To fashion, form, frame, make. While ‘I Knew’ is interpreted as yâda‛ (yaw-dah') in Hebrew. To know. Figuratively, recognition, acknowledge, aware.

In summary, before individual was squeezed into shape – molded into a form - fashioned or framed or formed, God ‘yâda‛’ us – recognized – knew us. In other words, our coming to this planet earth was concluded by God before He sent individual down.

“Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb. Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration — what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day” | Psalm 139: 13 - 16 (TM).

What a passage!

A respected man of God wrote this on his wall; ''There are no coincidences with God. Everything that happens to me He concluded before He formed me''.

Dearly beloved, you don’t live on chance happenings – coincidences! It’s all planned out before you were formed; and all can’t but work out for your good - plans to give you the future you hope for (Jeremiah 29: 11).

You can’t hide anything from Him - God knows. Stop being anxious about everything. Start taking it to Him in prayers | See Philippians 4: 6, Romans 8: 28.

NOW, SAY | I am known of God. Nothing to hide from Him.
