When Leicester city took the lead at the KP
Stadium in a rescheduled EPL game last night
against Chelsea, it didn't come as a fluke for a
team that showed they came out for the game for
the whole of 3points in the game to further boost
their chances of escaping relegation after just 1
season in the top flight. Before the Chelsea game,
Nigel Pearson's men were on a 4-game winning
run and was hoping for a 5th consecutive
victories over Chelsea. But just like a stuff of a
typical champion, Chelsea reacted in the last
40mins and got 3 goals to ensure they remain
just 3 points of winning their 1st EPL title in 5
years.

CHELSEA FC - A WORTHY CHAMPION?
Yes by far, from the start of the season until this
stage of the season, no EPL club has been good
as Chelsea. Jose Mourinho declared at the start
of the season that his team is a title contender,
in what is a sharp contrast to what Mou said all
through last season when You described his team
as a "little horse" in the title race and it was no
surprise that Chelsea went trophyless last
season. the question now is what has changed in
the Chelsea team that went trophyless to a team
that wins 2 titles this season? the difference is
Diego Costa's 19 goals already this season.
Chelsea were good last season just like theyve
been good this season, they paid the price of not
having a striker that could deliver a double digit
goals last season. Mou knew what was missing
in his team and it wasn't a surprise he splashed
the cash on Diego Costa from A.Madrid despite
his poor injury record. fast forward now, Costa's
19 goals is a major reason why Chelsea is
coasting home with the title now. Amazingly,
Costa did not score a single goal in the UEFA
champ league where Chelsea were knocked out
pre-maturedly. so what Costa bought just to
deliver EPL goals? maybe
the qualities of a champion are consistency,
character, doggedness, resilient and discipline and
all these Chelsea have shown this season.

FUTURE
If Chelsea had enjoyed a remarkable 2014/2015
season, then I can say next season and seasons
to come looks very bright for the Stamford bridge
landlord. Apart from having a team that conceded
the least number of goals, lost the least number
of games, scored the highest number of goals and
recorded the highest number of away wins in the
EPL this season, the team can still be proud of
great talents like M.Salah and co on loan outside
d club which should add strength to Chelsea next
season if recalled, the team can still into thier
youth set up for a great season they've had this
season. their U-21s won the UEFA U-21 C.L and
their youth team won the English youth FA Cup.
names like Dominic Solanke, Nathan Ake , and a
couple of youngsters are ready for EPL battle
next season. My only problem with Chelsea now
is their back 4. Ivanovic future is not certain,
Terry is ageing, Felipe Luis has not been
convincing but then their is still a certain Kourt
Zouma...congrats to all Chelsea fans
