Senator Deacon Alaba Obende Domingo who is a senator representing the people of Edo North in Edo State and hails from Igarra, was as clueless as the word 'clueless' in the sense that during the military regime,he was a close pal to former head of state,Gen Abdulsalam Abubakar and he couldn't by virtue of his relationship to the General attract any benefit to the people of Igarra as a unit in Akoko Edo.
Considering the fact that he was a wealthy man before he had any political ambition,he made us believe he can only affect his people by a political office and not the money alone,to our greatest dismay he was elected in 2011 as a senator this time not to only represent the people of Igarra or Akoko Edo people but the entire Edo North only to see him built an un-equipped deserted 300-seater civic hall,sunk boreholes with sub-standard materials and they are now a shadow of themselves and giving jobs to non-existing individuals on paper.
Meanwhile individuals without any political ambition have provided social amenities which the people of Igarra are enjoying.
Rumours has it that most of the roads tarred in Gov Adams Oshiomole(His god-father)own district in Edo North,Etsako were strongly financed by this so-called senator thereby completely neglecting his own unit(Akoko-Edo) just to secure political favour from the Governor and he promised to perform in his second term as a senator.
If I may ask my fellow nairalanders,when has 2nd term becomes a birth-right?
Now Gov Oshiomole has dumped him that he couldn't even win his primaries owing to the fact that that it's Oshiomole's constituency and that he may want to pick a senatorial ticket after the expiration of his tenure.
Oshiomole knowing fully well that if Domingo had clinched a second tenure,he will be too hard to crack come 2019 when he may be vying for such political position.
Now Sen Domingo and Akoko Edo are left with nothing whereas Etsako(Oshiomole's district) Is the cynosure of all eyes in the whole of Edo State.
Tell me why Oshiomole will not be the david of Etsako and Senator Domingo,the black sheep and a judas to Akoko-Edo.
So I'm embarking on this Trek to finally bid cluelessness in Akoko-Edo BYE BYE...

Please go all out and trek, Domingo is certainly a failure even though he is my uncle. He is a total waste of vote and he indeed brought those who believed in his capability shame because I for once never expected anything good to come out of him. I wonder when next we will have such golden opportunity to represent Edo North in the Senate again.
Oh no, how I hated to be associated with known failures and to think he still Lodge in the cave house he built in Igarra since 1994 beats my imagination, and he couldn't even pour ordinary gravel on the 2km mud road that leads to his house talk more of constructing it.
I do hope he stops coming home now that he has sacrificed his only sibling on the alter of politics especially now that he is so irrelevant first to us his people and the entire igarra nation

So he still hasn't done that road On a more serious note, what has Domingo done for the Igarras let alone Akoko-Edos Sincerely speaking, am extremely pained because I know about all his campaign promises. That was the main problem between him and Comrade Suru Akpata(his own relative) who never supported him.
