I love this great country into which I was born and I always pray for the best for this country but I do feel so much pain when I hear other Nigerians saying that the Igbo will never rule Nigeria again.

I think this is very unfair. Every tribe have their fair share of good and bad people. It is blackmail to assume that all Igbos want to break Nigeria and do not love this country. The truth is that there are many Igbos that love and believe in Nigeria.

Fellow Nigerians, why point fingers at us and say that we can never rule our country again?

We need an Igbo-Nigerian president so that past wounds can be healed.

This is my pain. embarassed

And I don't see the Yorubas rulling before the Igbos except Buhari dies on the seat...Obasanjo has done the 8 years of Yoruba and there is no way they will come back again after Buhari, I don't just see it happening unless Nigeria wants to head for the rocks.

Igbos just like any other tribe will rule Nigeria when they play their cards right. You can't keep fighting 2 of the 3 largest ethnic groups and expect their support.

Then again, ibos don't vote for ibos in the presidential elections, do you expect other people to vote you in? Logic101

You're right if only the Igbos will agree on a particular candidate

I don't hide d fact dat I am a die hard Yoruba man.....but u r a gud man....sometimes I write to tease eboes (igbos) becus they are very sensitive and emotional so I play with them but d truth is that they r a great people...n I don't really hate them but their turn is coming......and I think if a quality Igbo candidate comes up......he will be d best president ever........I think 9jerians were beginning to trust them but....the way janagoat used them to divide the country in order to hold onto power will not be forgotten soon..... angry...even his people knew he was bad n people who know him know he is an alcoholic but d SE just wanted him there why...I don't know my two pence... wink

Who told you Igbos will not rule Nigeria?

What we're saying is that the Igbos need to play their politics right in order to make the Igbo presidency happen.

The only Ibo man presently with the chance and hope of becoming president is regarded as MALLAM/ABOKI by his fellow Ibos.

Ibos are their own worst enemies. If you doubt me, check the post below.

I think the main problem is that a lot of the older generation of igbos have fed the younger generation with a lot of hateful tales about their fellow countrymen, this especially applies to those igbos that have hardly stepped out of their comfort zone in the SE.

I once had an experience with an igbo lady some years back which confirmed this.
