Rafa Benitez is already 99% Real Madrid new coach, according to the agent of deperting Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti was fired by Madrid president Florentino Perez on Monday evening, with the Italian having paid for 2014-15 campaign which brought no major trophies despite winning the Champions league and Copa del Rey titles in his first season in charge the year before.
Current Napoli and former Valencia, Liverpool and Chelsea manager Benitez, is widely seen as the frontrunner with his agent saying the Spainard would be "delighted" to take the job, especially with Perez having intimated that he wanted a Spainish speaker in the role.
Report have been told that no confirmation would be given until next week, perhaps because Benitez still has his final Seria A game as Napoli coach on Sunday.
The chain of event seems even more likely after Ancelotti's agent Ernesto Bronzetti told RAI that he had heard that Madrid-born Benitez a previous assistant coach of Madrid was returning to the club as team boss.

Ancelotti had been linked with an immediate return to his former club Millan, although the 55-year-old said he will undergo a minnor back operation and then take some time off -- a plan which his representative appeared to confirm.
Perez made his move despite Madrid players including Christiano Ronaldo, Mercelo, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric having all voiced their hopes that Ancelotti would remain as their coach next year, and Bronzetti claimed some squard members had been in tears when the deperture was confirmed.
Real Madrid finished the season two points behind La Liga champions Barcelona, and ended up trophyless despite 22 - match winning streak earlier in the campaign.

You just never knows with Perez. I'm sure he knows what he is doing. About Benitez and Carlo, I'd prefer Benitez because Carlo seem scared at times while Benitez appears Confident of his abilities.

I also know that most persons would rate Carlo over Benitez cos of the trophies Carlo has won but it can also be argued that Benitez has never really had the kind of financial backing and top players that Carlo had in the past.

I think Perez is looking at the Barca case where a Spainsh coach was appointed, see how well it worked for them.

I can't wait to see Madrid flop come next season. Benitez doesn't stand a chance against the top managers .with Benitez 's appointment, Madrid can kiss d La Liga trophy goodbye cos d man doesn't know how to win a league. He's a better manager in terms of competition though but I don't rate him high.
