Nigeria Soon To Be World's #1 Kidnapping Country by mubaraqqq(f): 7:19am On Feb 20, 2009 |
It use to be that kidnapping was confined the delta, people claiming to fight for justice. Unfortunately, kidnapping has now become a growing business in Nigeria where Nigerian citizens are been held for Ransom. It has now moved from Port Harcourt to the east and the latest was in Abuja where a minister's daughter was kidnapped. According to the world rankings Nigeria is now ranked 6th in the world for kidnapping. Furthermore, my fear is that Nigerians abroad will soon be receiving calls that their loves are been held for ransom. Instead of the Nigerian Government to deal with this, they have already started ordering armored vehicles to protect their own lives. There are already so many things we fear in Nigeria, lets not let kidnapping be one of them. |
