I formatted my pc today so I had a little time today when I was setting my codin environment I thought about this contest for a while now and I came up with an ideal on how to tackle the issue
First if you have been searching for a sound recognition library bro am sorry to say this to you "you no go even smell last position for this contest" coz sound recognition only recognize a as a. Not to a particular person
Now let's start the lesson:
I know I am ordinary guy like that with only my waec as my highest degree which I got only three credits
But let forget about that now you are about to learn something that will give you million of naira

Becoz of the contest I wouldn't go on full details I will only touch the explicit parts

I remembered on linux I compile one music player. I don't remember the name of the software. If you play a song with it later if you edit the file name and all the tags it will still recognize the song and give you the name
Now how does this work it is simple wave or sound fingerprinting:
What the hell is sound fingerprinting:
I know this will sound strange but any computer science student here will be familiar with the terms wave fingerprinting. It is all about concentrated digital summary of a sound samples through a sound signal

Now to brake it down ex:
Let take "cum" and "come" to a normal human ear they sound same and also to normal mic but when u sample the two sound very well you notice one will have a higher pitch or shorter sample length
Now if you have a sound fingerprinting of these too words by me even if obj say it like me it will still not match my sample perfectly

Now how does this help in the contest :
If you can get at lest 10 interview of buhari like where he said, nigeria,nigerians,corruption etc
And produce there sample bro you will clock up to 95% and seun go give u ur 50k sharp sharp

I know some pple will criticize me "abi moni no dey sweet u " it is not all about the moni it is all about what you learned from every new challenge but if you are wise I know I dnt explain every thing you can go to google and start research

And according to what I am seeing here, na only VASELINE JAR that one programmer sef post. Maybe na #Team Vasline on nairaland side im dey sef.

This has to do with sound pattern recognition and machine learning.

I think 50k is too small to release the code!!!

finally naija devs are becoming wise seun if u want easy code for sound fingerprinting increase the cash

You know, from the start I knew this was a professional job. And the question on my mind was - is there any professional that will be willing to undergo this for 50k - and the answer seems to be NOT LIKELY.

Just because they don't seem interested doesn't mean they are not good programmers. If i see a project like this on Github I would contribute (Even If its Free) because it encourages you to code, unlike NL programming section...

Seun isn't hiring your skill. It's a contest. If you think you need to protect your source code, you should know what to do while you contest.

Voice recognition libraries are hard to find....found one sha...but I need do some study on digital signal processing related stuff and figure how to get it to work with media file
