I'm not surprised considering the location of the banks in the US. A lot of those areas are country sides but host bank head offices especially North Carolina.

Most corrupt practices are done in those areas with minimal attention and Nigerian thievesitians are most likely to be aware of this.

I know some properties in the US that I can authoritatively ascribe to a lot of thieves in that list especially those who weren't rich before public service.
