@truthman2012 do you know you are a confused oldman? because of desperacy you cant spell "from" again. well thank God you know it wasnt "revealed"(notice the quotes) in english, arabic and hebrew are similar, in arabic we say salamualaikum in hebrew it is shalomalikhim, Allah is elloh and so on, therefore its the same style , but wait a minute, werent you the one that said Allah copied english?, that was why i used that to refute your claim. |

lexiconkabir: You guys lack intelligence. If you are a young man reasoning this way, by the time you are old, there will be nothing more remaining in your head. Old age is a virtue and not a vice, but because you guys reason upside down, you think it is a vice. It is the grace of God to grow old as none of is sure of getting old. Is your father a young boy? Smh! |

lexiconkabir:Surah.6:114 Shall I seek other than Allah for judge, when HE it is Who hath revealed unto you (this) Scripture, fully explained? Those unto whom WE gave the Scripture (aforetime) know that it is revealed from thy Lord in truth . So be not thou (O Muhammad) of the waverers. Pickthall The speaker here, whom we are supposed to believe is Allah, says that he will not seek a judge other than Allah and also uses singular and plural pronouns interchangeably. the royal plural doesn’t at all help the Muslim cause since it actually implies that Allah was addressing his royal court, his heavenly council. The online encyclopedia, Wikipedia, writes in regard to the purpose and function of the royal plural: Pluralis majestatis ("majestic plural" is the plural pronoun where it is used to refer to one person alone. This is also known as the " royal we" or the "Victorian we" because it has usually been restricted to august personages such as monarchs, bishops, Popes, and university rectors. The reason behind the pluralis majestatis is the idea that a monarch or other high official ALWAYS SPEAKS FOR HIS OR HER PEOPLE. Examples of purported instances: We are not amused. Queen Victoria (in at least one account of this quotation, though, she was not speaking for herself alone, BUT FOR THE LADIES OF THE COURT.) We are a grandmother. Margaret Thatcher announcing the birth of Mark Thatcher’s son Michael in 1990. It is to be distinguished from pluralis modestiae, also pluralis auctoris (inclusion of readers or listeners). For instance: Let's calculate! Leibniz We are thus led also to a definition of "time" in physics. Albert Einstein It was said that United States Navy Admiral Hyman G. Rickover told a subordinate that used the royal we: "Three groups are permitted that usage: pregnant women, royalty, and schizophrenics. Which one are you?" There is no such thing as the "Papal we". The pope may use the "Royal we". http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pluralis_Majestatis 1 Like |

@malvisguy212 i now see that the christians on this thread are "literate-illiterates" so to speak, just looking for points. well arabic has different styles of referring to oneself(i.e a majestic being), "I, HE, and WE" is used in arabic, the same in english, chinese, persian, french etc. all these styles were used when revealing the quran, so whats your point? u need to go back to a remedial class!! 2 Likes |

lexiconkabir:nonsense!!! By the explanation given by the royal we , does it mean Allah and his crew breath "A" his spirit on Mary? Surah 21:91: “And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: WE breathed into her of OUR spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples.” (Yusuf Ali) Our spirit? lexiconkabir:we, christians are not bound by the ruled of religion, christ has already seal the LAW in our heart , worship on Sunday , Saturday ,All we do it for God . Bible say in Romans14: Romans 14:5-6 One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind. HE WHO OBSERVE THE DAY,OBSERVE IT FOR THE LORD , and he who eats, does so for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God. Colossians 2:16 Therefore let NO ONE ACT AS YOUR JUDGE in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a SABBATH DAY - things which are a MERE shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. Colossians 3:17 However, there are qualifiers to this verse: And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Do you get the points? Monday to Sunday, it dosent matter, just serve God with ALL your mind and Love your neighbours. |
