Well, I don't blame the soldier at all but he should just have freed the woman and cut off everything connecting them. There are punishments more severe than parading them naked on the streets. If I were to be the one, I go give her emotional trouble. I once caught my ex in bed with another guy, I just laughed and left, the following month, God provided me with a cool ride.
