Please how do I connect my laptop to browse without modem. My laptop is elitebook 6930p and it has a sim slot but I dont know how it can be connected. Gurus in the house abeg makeuna help us |

Chuksworld: Not the drivers for your sim card, but the drivers for the sim slot reader. Check device manager for the hardware device and see if drivers are already installed. Or download slimdrivers to check for missing drivers. |

Hey mr man dont you worry yourself because that sim card will never work as a modem. My advice for u is that if you have an android device, just turn on the wi-fi or wlan hotspot and password it. Then switch on the wi-fi on ur laptop, connect with the android hotspot, input the password and off you go. And if u are using a windows lumia like myself, just put on your internet sharing and connect with your pc. NB; You must have a considerable data plan. |

the simcard reader comes with its own network card....bt its been removed in most of the systems.... At the back of your 6930 laptop(elitebook) you will see a flowerlike structure or wireless sign...take a screw driver and open there... if there is a network card there or a device dat two wires a connected at the down...then u re good to go...bt if its empty and two wires are coverd with a transparent rubber..then u re off the train |
