Baptism is not salvation. salvation is the foundation of the christ-like life for all true believers while baptism is just an important components of salvation as instructed by Jesus Christ to the disciples that everyone should be baptized in the name of the father, son and the holy spirit. because we are his followers we must all likewise go through everything he went through for us to be exactly like him whereby we turned out to be a sole hire of his inheritance which is from God the father.

Salvation is much important than everything else because it's our qualification to be a follower of christ jesus.
