Though the action of the player is condemnable but having watched several matches across Nigeria's stadia these ball boys are something else whenever the home team are leading by a loan goal and are under persistent pressure. No sane player will just shoove down little boy just for the fun of it, if not from consistent frustrative acts by the ball boys who must have hidden all balls in their costody to frustrate trailing visiting team.

Why are ther this many penalties on a match day, to the point Shooting Stars had two in a single match. Speaks volume of the quality of the league.

Either the referees are over-bearing or there is high level of indiscipline in the league.

Still a long way to go for the NPFL.

you need to see what the ball boys in ilorin are doing when the team is leading. Assistant coach is giving instruction to them to take it slowly. Abeg make dem free ojo, those ball boys deserve more self.

To be sincere...the boy wasn't wasting his time...I'm not sure if anyone can testify to this... The Ojo guy was just tensed and rushing...In fact..Akure gunners were even the ones employing delay tactics when the match was still at 1-1...Go through my previous posts....
What I'm saying is OJO shouldn't have acted like that..they are away for crying out loud in a league where security is not so good yet!
For his own safety and his entire team members..it's a dangerous act. If the mob catch him...I don't even know what could have happened.
He should also thank God shooting was not on the losing side..Those that know Oluyole Warriors fans will understand this!

What was the scoreline when the boy was pushed down?

I ve watched several match in Ibadan and I know ball boys intentionally abandon balls that went out of play. Against Nasarawa united the goalkeeper practically had to pick two balls himself when we ve ball boys and kept one very close to his post.

Even if this particular case was not an issue of delay tacticse we should start looking into it now the earlier the better! Only players in the field of play can delay play not spectators whom the ball boys fall into!
