How My Neighbour's Daughter Was Scammed. by SirLegal(m): 11:46am On Sep 16, 2015
I have a neighbour who lives just 2 blocks away from my house. So yesterday, we met as neighbours do to discuss certain issues ranging from politics, entertainment, sports etc. As we were having a nice talk, he uncharacteristically changed our topic of discussion to family issues. I was surprised to say the least because in our previous discussions, we've never talked about our respective families. But him been an elder to me and a married man too, all i had to do was to give him a listening ear.

He told me about his daughter who is 17 and among those who left Sec. school this year and how she was scammed.
According to him, it all began a week ago she went for a Post Utme examination in IMSU Owerri. After the exams, she boarded a keke Napep back home. Their in the Keke, she met a man who claimed to be a man of God. This man told her that she had an evil spirit residing in her and that she needed a quick deliverance session. He also told her that her breasts contains bad impurities needed to be sucked out by him. Then he followed up the prophecy by threatening her that failure to comply with this deliverance session of his will lead to her bringing out blood from the breasts and anus etc. The deliverance will cost around #200,000 depending on how fast she can get the money. He gave her his number and she took it.

This girl came back home and never said a word about what happened to her parents (this was her biggest mistake). Fast forward to 5 days later(a saturday) her mother came back with #170,000 in cash and showed it to her telling her that the money was to pay back her debtors whom she owed in their clothing business (this is because she sells in the shop). Meanwhile the scammer Man of God have been reminding her of his fake prophecies and the disastrous implications that surround her.

On Sunday, the cookie crumbled. The all went to church and as the mass was on, she excused herself on the basis of having a running stomach. Came back home, took the money(#170,000) to be used on monday, collected her younger brother's #6,000 (his life savings)
and zoomed out to be DELIVERED. And delivered she was. The crafty scammer wanna be MOG scammed her and also scammed her breasts too.

After hearing him speak, i was totally devastated and dumbfounded. I asked him what he did after he realised what happened. He said he told her to call him back and arrange for a meeting between them again. But you know how this scammers work, it didn't happen. The Guy's line is switched off till today am writing this.

To be frank, I have never seen such level of GULLIBILITY in anyone like this girl.

MORAL
This incident just made me to understand that scammers in Nigeria today have various modus Operandi to defraud Nigerians most especially the females. Seems like GULLIBILITY is higher in the female folk to the male.

IF I WERE IN HER SHOES, I WOULD HAVE TOLD MY PARENTS FIRST BEFORE CARRYING OUT IN ACTION.

I am beginning to remember one day a man accosted me in a foodstuff market and told me that he couldn't resist telling me what God flashed in his eyes to tell me that instant, that I am a STAR to my family and generation but he sees an old woman from my bloodline applying mud on that star and I could have a prayer session with him to stop it from happening.
I replied him saying "Thanks sir for the prophecy but a star can never be hidden no matter what you use to hide it, it continues shining and that I will also shine in the life of that old woman" the man insisted that something bad may happen if I don't take his number and come for prayers. I became enraged and cursed him saying " May millions of Afghan fleas infest your body and may your hand grow too short to scratch them"
She is not willfully strong that's why they got to her. It is well with us.
