Good day to you, I recently collected a Dell latitude d600 from a friend to do some project but thought that the battery is bad and decided to buy a brand new battery from Ikeja. I tried charging it as the normal requirement but I noticed it only shows AC power without charging the new battery. I checked the adapter, I swapped it with another adapter but still not charging. I also checked the dell community forum but no reply from there. Please help a brother. I really need a solution. thanks in anticipation. |

The Battery you bought might not be okay or better stil check the Charger well if the input AC is 100 - 240V (50 - 60) Hz Output DC 19.5V Charger with the above spec will charge ur dell (if the battery is okay) |

FIRST TRY TO TURN ON THE LAPTOP WITH ONLY CHARGER, IF THE LAPTOP TURNS ON, YOU MAY HAVE PROBLEM WITH THE CHARGER OR THE LAPTOP LOGIC BOARD. SO, USE DELL ORIGINAL CHARGER TO CHARGE THE LAPTOP IN ORDER TO KNOW WHERE PROBLEM LIES. GOOD LUCK! |
