The Differences Between Being Short Tempered And Hot Tempered by Winna01(m): 8:01pm On Oct 03, 2015
Many of us confuse short temper for hot temper and vice versa. But here are a number of ways by which they are different. The main difference lies in what could make
them angry and the consequences of that
anger.

Short tempered people: 1. Usually have low threshold of
tolerance. 2. Even the first offending argument
or statement could make them angry. 3. Instant verbal outburst. 4. Their decisions taken in anger are
rarely permanent. 5. Irritation might quickly turn into
anger. 6. They have a higher tendency to get
"mad". 7. Apologizing works effectively. Hot tempered people: 1. Usually have a very high tolerance. 2. They can ignore more than a few
offending remarks before getting
offended. 3. There would rarely be any verbal
outburst. 4. They usually stick with the decision
they take while angry. 5. They are serious about their anger. 6. They can differentiate between thier
irritation and anger and keep them
separate. 7. Merely apologising will not be
effective. You need to know what
answer them and a mitigation action
item on you.
