Mai madaci is a familiar oil in the north used for a variety of purposes , characterized by its infamous bitter taste. Unfortunately, most peeps i have asked don't know what its called in English. Please is there anyone here who knows the English name for mai madaci or any other native name? Thanks. |

Well if I'm not mistaken i think madaci is mahogany tree, and mai means oil. Therefore man madaci is oil extracted from mahogany leaves or bark not sure though. |

Thanks for the input carinmom. Just confirmed from someone else thats its from mahogany tree seed, so i think its safe to call it mahogany seed-oil for now lol  |
