The Gurkhas have served the British well for over two hundred years. They have supported the forces, fought loyally and without question. Yet the ruling today means these folks will not be allowed to settle in the UK. Surely, we own them a great debt and the least we can do is to allow them to settle here with their family? It just goes to show how out of touch the government is sometimes. I am surely not voting for them any more. The only upside to this story is that campaigners are not stepping down their campaign for justice.

Well some have. However those who retire before 1997 dont have the right to reside in the UK, even though the serves the UK armed forces. It is a scam and a sham to be honest. |

The Gurkhas are mugs who fight in conflicts that has no links to them. These people are hired mercenaries and deserved to be taken for a ride. Nepalese should be fighting for Nepal not acting as canon fodder for white imperialism. Kudos to the Home Sec for this audacious move. |
