@chydon Nice to hear you are preparing to take the SCJA and SCJP exams. I would want you to register at http://www.javaranch.com , it's free. So that you can share experience and problems with people also preparing for the exams. In fact I used the site for my exams. Also, I would advice you go for the 5.0 SCJP first, the SCJA is a more generic exams, it's on General Java technologies like Java SE, ME and EE. Alot of model and some xml. It just too wide. So your best bet is to trash the SCJP. When you start your preparation let me know so that i can send you some of my old materials but still relevant. I concur that you should visit the appropriate forums at Javaranch. The forums were helpful when I was preparing for the exams too. I still visit some the forums there regularly. |
