It started blowing hot air today and when we took the car there he broke the sad news dt d compressor is bad. Pls is it possible it's d compressor and if yes where can I get a good one and at what price?. I'm in Abuja

You said deal and you need to clarify that term.

You can never seal a Freon leak you have to fix source of leak by replacing bad part

At first it was d joints he replaced d seals nd used white gum to hold dem as he fastened the joints together with screw which I felt was alright.. a joint on d dryer too was also treated in the same manner. Technically he did seal all the joints nd screw dem fitted in their positions but it still leaks. I really can't believe it's the compressor yet I need an experienced advise

The pressure within the system will always find a way to leak out unless you replace defective/worn part.

You will need to recharge with a can of r234 with a uv dye, when it leaks out you will see the location of the leak from the UV dye stains.

If it is at a connection you can still replace the o-ring but if it is at rubber hose or joint just replace the part, with pag oil required vacuum the system to remove moisture then refill with the right amount of r134

That is a summary of what needs to be done and with the right tool many can do it
