The enemies of Mr Udom Emmanuel, the executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, were each given seven red cards by Prelate Isaiah Isong of the Believers Assembly Evangelical Worldwide at this month’s state executive prayer meeting which held today 21st November, 2015. The service holds once every month at the state Government House Chapel; Latter House Chapel.


Speaking from 2 Samuel 15:21 and 31 on the theme “O Lord, I say NO, NO, NO”, the prelate issued seven red cards to the enemies of the Governor and those of the state, stating that no one can dethrone the state boss by any means.


One cannot but wonder if this is plain sycophancy, given the political topsy-turveydom in the state or if the man of God is actually doing his master’s bidding. However, the man of God should have at least tempered justice with mercy and given the Governor’s enemies yellow cards first.
