What is so confusing about it?

This is the third or fourth thread dealing with the question. One twin was born on December 31, 2015 and the other on January 1, 2016.
They are age mates since there is only a few minutes difference between the time they were born.

The time the second was delivred became the recognised one because in some cases, even doctors never realise the former time being busy on the delivery of the other twin.

If I happen to be their mum I will record Jan 1 for both of them.

11:54 that is approximately 12,and 12am is already the nextday,so january 1 is their birthday

1st..... cos date n time is taken when delivery is completed, since as at 12am, delivery was incomplete, former won't be considered.

To me from 11:54pm december 31st and 12:03am january 1st is not up to 24hrs, its just 9mins late or 9min difference, so they are twins. And you can't rate the first child one year older because it takes 365days to make up 1year or even 366days to make up one leap year, so you cant compare just 9mins to 365days or 366days.

Jan 1st shud be their bday nah...
