With the new fixed price of #86.50 by PPPRA for dispensing fuel at private filling stations following the latest pricing review (without subsidy), be careful with the stations you patronise as many are now engaging in cutting corners.
Normally, many filling stations adjust their fuel pump to get even more profit, but now, with the new retail price, the adjustment is appalling! Went to a neighbourhood filling station and after initially refusing to sell in a keg, they reluctantly agreed to do so selling in through keg at #100/litre. As if that was not enough, a keg that normally takes 12L to fill up took 17 litres to do so on their fuel gauge. Then I suddenly realised why they refused to sell in kegs. Imagine how much they have ripped people off of. You wouldn't notice much if you are buying in your car fuel tank.
DPR is trying but they might be overworked and selective with their justice. Some complained that the only filling stations that the DPR sanctions/seals/dispense free fuel is where the request for a Greek gift (egunje) isn't met, which I have partially confirmed to be true.
Just be on the lookout for #endtime filling stations sha

Good information...
We expect the anti-corruption ceaser to start manning the filling stations instead of junketing around the globe like a lost traveller.

If corruption is worth fighting then its worth fighting to the finish..
Its not all about going against political enemies

This is not new abeg. Majority of the filling stations in the country are neck deep into this cheating habit. DPR has a long battle to fight.

These fuel stations are wicked. Imagine one selling fuel four days ago at N165/litre, which was adjusted to N115/litre yesterday. If it's true the station can only make profit by selling at N175/litre, why did they reduce it to N115/litre. They are just saboteurs.
