Futility- A Poem by captainnigeria(m): 8:30pm On Jan 05, 2016
Pray brother don't you find it futile
The continuous struggle
The unsatisfactory endings
Every man strives for something
Only to get it and realize he doesn't want it after all
It's the same with everything
Relationships,materialism,all the wants in life
Pray brother don't you find it futile
Our lives are a cycle of continuous searching
I wonder when we will find 'IT'
Then i realize there's no 'IT'
Nothing or nobody can make you happy
You just struggle till you stop breathing
Pray brother don't you find it futile
As i sit here in this crowded class
Writing this poem
I realize we are lost
There is no true happiness
Inner happiness is a shade as it fades
As a people we're all trying to be happy
Instead of trying not to be sad
But don't you find that futile too?
Why yes, yes i do
