Why is it that people often cheats. Is it human nature? I don't buy to that idea that it is only men that cheat. Both men and women are guilty of this offence.
We all know it is bad, and sometimes feel guilty after we've done it.So this is what I want to know.Why do people still do it?

the list on why people do cheat is endless, here are a few reason:

- loneliness
- boredom
- lack of interest in their spouse
- lack of sexual compatibility with their spouse (example: if a man likes anal sex and the wife refuses it)
- lack of understanding between partner
- lack of affection in the marriage (lack of emotional/psychological support)
- lack of fun in the marriage
- the belief that you will never get caught
- a sexual opportunity presents itself
in all, its about searching for something you dont get at home from your spouse. sometimes even when they get it all, a spouse will still cheat.

this question is in the same group as these following questions:
why do some people steal?
why do some people kill?
why do some people lie?
why are some people bad?

there is no real answer to these.

It has to do with a lot of things as much as it depends on the gender. However, I have to point out that cheating on your partner doesn't make you love him/her less depending on your reason(s) for cheating.

Some men just cheat for any or more of these reasons:

**** Because they think they can't get enough from their wife in terms of sex
**** Because their partners pose a lot of emotional problems to them thereby resorting to some sort of temporary happiness ventures
**** Some men cheat because it is naturally embedded in their nature.
**** Some men cheat because they think marriage could sometimes be boring(where marriage is concerned).


Female cheat for many reasons viz :

*** The man not good enough in bed
*** The man being unnecessarily jealous and the woman feels she needs to find someone else because she can't keep up with the heated pressure.
*** Women, like men, still do have men they will or that they fantasize, if a woman tells you she has never come across a man she likes almost more than she liked you the first time she saw you, she is a blatant liar.
*** Some women can be easily swayed by riches and enticing gifts from men.
*** There are women who just don't know how to say NO to men.
*** Some think they are smart and can outsmart men.
*** There are women who are very insatiable and you can't help that.

Overall, I still think if hit with a condition that is most unfavourable, most of us are 50% prone to cheating.

EVERYBODY is susceptible to cheating, it just depends on the degree of exposure of the person to the opportunity to cheat as well as his/her Conscience and Convictions!
