There is no criteria we can pinpoint as a yardstick for telling a devilish instrumental. Rather, it is the Spirit if GOD that make us discern. Without the Spirit of GOD, to be on the safe side, avoid all instrumentals coz you don't known which has been used to make a secular song without your knowledge. Rather, dwell on hymns, psalms and good gospel songs to glorify GOD through JESUS CHRIST

I will share a dream I had about 4yrs ago. I was before the gate of hell with my friend happily dancing to Safe by M.I. throwing our hands in the air. I woke up, but that did not deter me from playing worldly songs until this year when by the grace of God the dream started disturbing my mind again.
Bro, the simple question is: does it glorify the Lord? If not, does it teach good lessons? If not, who then does it glorify? Your answer is as good as mine.

Instrumental comprises the piano and guitar chords, the drum and bass lines and other accompaniments WITHOUT THE VOCALS.. How then can we tell that a chord progression is worldly or not? because i know that progression must have been used to make countless number of songs..
