Let us all beware. Scammers have taken a whole new turn & apparently, many Nigerians will likely fall for this one.

Here's what happened to me earlier today (12:50 pm, Friday 29th January 2016).

I was seated in my office when a number (08104798961) flashed me once. Inquisitive as I am, I immediately called the number back.

Me: "Hello! This number just flashed mine. With whom am I speaking please?"

Him: "Mr. Anthony! Is this Mr. Anthony, please?"

Me: "Yes it is. May I know whom I'm speaking to, please?"

Him: "My name is xxxx of the FRSC (can't remember his name now, but it was a Yoruba name). I'm here at the scene of an accident along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, just by Redeemed Camp."

Me: "Okay...?"

Him: "Yes sir! There's a woman who was involved in the accident & we found your number in her phone book we just went through now."
By now, my mind had run through ten million faces at once, thinking who it might have been.

Me: "I don't know of any one travelling that route today. Can you describe the person to me, please?"

Him: "She's a young woman, fair & not too tall. We saw your number in her phone."

Me: "Kai! I still don't know. Okay, why don't you use the phone that belongs to her & call me so I can get an idea of the person?"

Him: "Yes sir! I want to do that but I've finished the airtime on the phone to call other people before I got to your own contact. Even the free MTN Call-Me-Back, I've used them up. If you can just send me like =N=400 MTN card so I can load it & use it to call you so you can see who it is I'm talking about."

*End Of Story*

Lalasticlala and seun, come and save us from these scammers o.

We'll always be a step ahead of them in Jesus name..Amen
