NIPR regulates the activities of public relations in the country including certifying students to become members through their bi-annual exams.

To be a member, you have to sit for their examinations especially if you are not a graduate of Mass comm or marketing. These exams are written in May/June and Nov/Dec yearly.

For more information, visit the "frequently asked questions" section of this website www.professionalexamstutors.com or better still, fill the enquiry section concerning specific areas you will want to know about.

I took part in the may/june proffessional exams, the exams seems easy but i heard that 75% failed the last exam, especially the certificate level. While is the failure rate this his. However, one thing i noticed is that the questions are quite trickised one need to be probably grounded in the field of public relations in other to anwer those questions correctly. It definete that the study materials/lectures cannot help one to pass these exams.
Re: Nigerian Institute Of Public Relations by Idagu(m): 6:23pm On Jul 23, 2010
@holykiss

I agree with you that the questions in the NIPR exams are applied questions and will need practical knowledge to be able to apply them, but STRONGLY DISAGREE that Lectures and study materials can not prepare you for the exams. Maybe it is because of the lectures/Materials you probably recieved for your preparation. I wish to state that there are lecture centers where you will get exam focused and practical lectures that will prepare you well enough for the exams and position you for the practice of Public Relations. There are testimonies to my claims.

Send me an e-mail on pracademynigeria@gmail.com or call my mobile on 08098023336|IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE FOR YOUR NEXT EXAMS.

hello to every one , my suggestion here about NIPR IS THAT PEOPLE NOW ARE CONFUSED OF WHAT TO DO ON THE ISSUES OF PUBLIC RELATION AND I MUST TELL YOU THE TRUTH NOW THAT THE PROFESSIONAL EXAMS IS QUITE MATURED THAN THE UNIVERSITY LEVEL ,NOW THAT THE ISSUE HAS BEEN RAISED UP NOW,I SUGGEST THAT STUDENT THAT WANTS TO WRITE THE CERTIFICATE STAGE HAS TO BE QUALIFIED AS A STUDENT FIRST BEFORE MOVING TO DIPLOMA STAGE.I YINUSA TAOREED AM NOW WRITING MY DIPLOMA BY JUNE JULY ,BUT DUE TO THE STRIKE LEVEL OF MY SCHOOL I WILL LIKE TO USE MY CERTIFICATE STAGE EXAMS TO CROSS OVER TO 200 LEVEL IN THE UNIVERSITY BUT I WOLL BE CHARTERD IF I HAVE MY DIPLOMA ,AND HAVING THE DIPLOMA MEANS AM CHARTERED ,THEN I WILL GO FOR MY MASTER.
MY ADVICE FOR EVERY ONE SEEKING TO PUBLIC RELATION PROFESSIONS TO BE DETERMINED AND GET THE MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE EXAMS ,GO FOR LECTURES AS I DO , u can reply me to my mail or face book ,my mail is flow10y2k@yahoo.com and my face book name is yeenusir thaorheed, 08073927089
enquires for the materials ,just contact me fully
