Has anyone applied to the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. Pls let's meet here. I need several infos on the school and chance of given admission if applied.

I dnt knw if they accept 2-2 dere.. am really interested

...Most Canadian universities do not really consider the full years but mostly consider the last two years and if its very good I.e 3.75/5 then u r OK

Which Master programme are you looking at? The application period for Masters may have closed, I think they close it either end of January or end of March, you may look it up. It's an affordable school, about the cheapest in Canada but the Masters admission may be a bit tough except if it's a course that's not so competitive. I was offered admission there some years back but didn't get visa. You need to not only prepare for admission, prepare also for the visa. Best wishes

But from my 300 Level, I made nothing less than 4.1/5, so does it mean I stand a good chance getting accepted into Memorial University since you said they consider the last two years of your program?

Try to calculate your 300&400 level GPA together if its up to 3.5 or 70% or more better still then you are good and its a good thing that you have second class upper which means you can apply to any Canadian in skul of your choice depending on their requirements. But mind you GPA is not the only thing that they consider for admission, they also consider referees, statement of purpose, academic CV, application fee mostly 100 Canadian dollar.

I wish to apply for M.sc Computer Science in MUN as well but i noticed the admission is closed even for January. I just sent the School a mail since the application porter is still very much opened for January batch to know if application can still be valid.

By the way. I wish to know if anyone that applied to the school has gotten a positive response and I have a CGPA of 3.52/5.0 and would like an advise from anyone in the house if i should apply or not

3.52 is 2-1, right? You should be able to apply. Would be better if you sent them an enquiry email first though. Just to be sure. You can look up Royal Holloway University in the UK. I learnt they admit even 2-2 applicants.

Very cheap school fees with quality education system plus referral led me to looking into the school. Haven't applied yet cos I gat to find supervisor first. Sent request for supervisor (january resumption), but I haven't heard anything from them. Planning to look at other schools

Please does any one knows if university of Saskatchewan offer semester payment while doing my masters.

I will like to know what masters program I can study in memorial university or any low tuititoon fee uni that is lucrative as I have a btech in microbiology.

Also I will like to know if my sponsor must be a relation.

I have TOEFL results but I didn't use it for MUN application because I got a letter of English language proficiency from my school which I sent to SGS.
