Something terrible happened yesterday Friday at my area in Ireti-Ayo street, Ilesha, Osun state.
A security man named James from Cross-River has killed himself after he found out he was HIV positive. A woman popularly called Iya-Alakara who lives in the same house with James was the first to find his lifeless body hanging on the tree. The saddest part is a woman who sweeps my compound every morning for a token is known to be the deceased lover, the woman who is known to be a cheerful giver of her juice factory is known to sleep around with numerous men and has fallen out with her daughter after she was caught pants down with her daughter's husband (son in-law). No one has seen her since the incident happened. There has been panic in people's home as most of the men who sleep with her are known to be married with kids.
The police couldn't remove the body as rituals had to be performed by the initiates which involved them being naked and that includes the first woman to set her eyes on the corpse. The woman was forced to go naked to avoid the wrath of the gods. The ritual has been done and the body has been removed, his family and friends have been contacted to get his body for burial.

When I look at the Nigerian society, it appears many people actually want to die but don't know how to go about it. Some of them decide to turn it against the society instead through acts like terrorism, violent behaviors and more. Even smoking cigarette when you see it written there that 'smokers are liable to die young', for me is an indication of couched suicidal intentions. Also, even here on NL, there are people always out to abuse someone. Although you may not agree with me on this, but if you probe into such people's lives you will most likely discover either they are tired of living and are afraid to kill themselves or they lacked an opportunity for a good home training (like people born out of wedlock by wayward girls). What this guy has done is just a graphic way of doing what so many are already doing indirectly.

So, this is my advice to you if you are tired of living and you REALLY don't want life any more: just donate your body for a medical research that will benefit humanity instead of wasting it or constituting an ache to humanity through your many violent behaviors (like always wanting to fight so that someone might clean you up). If this guy did that, may be his donation would have led to a permanent cure for HIV/AIDS.

He must have strongly discriminated against HIV patient before knowing his status. Hopelessness is suicide.

Asshat offed himself because of ordinary HIV. So folks that have high blood pressure, diabetes, quadriplegic, etc should have murdered themselves long time ago.
