@ bilymuse, Why can i be against western education? I'M NOT A BOKO HARAMIST. This Uztaz was not against western education,but was critizing the MOST of western life. Before the demise of this Islamic fellow (Uztaz Muhammad Yusuf) he was preaching about the injustices & poverty in the North,this made him more popular among the Youths,just like Alhaji Asari Dokubo. That was why the Uztaz willing followed the security operatives (Army) when he was caught. He thought, he going to be interviewed on his agenda (If their was any violent one), there are unanswered questions about our security forces (i.e the Police)

I'm not supporting any violent group,i was happy when i heard the actions our security forces used to curtail the violent. But the way & manner,the late Uztaz Muhammad Yusuf was killed shows how insincere & uncivilized the Nigerian Government is.

A two-times chairman of Kaga local government area of Borno State and a former commissioner of Religious Affairs and Water Resources, Alhaji Buji Fai who was a member of the dreaded Mohammed Yusuf sect that has been terrorising the people of Maiduguri, the Borno the State capital has been captured in his farm along Biu-Damboa road yesterday, and later killed in the early hours of today at the Police Headquarters, Maiduguri.

Alhaji Buji Fai who dumped politics and join the Boko Haram group, a sect led by the late Mallam Mohammed Yusuf, left the services of Borno State government when he was the commissioner for Religious Affairs and fully involved himself in the activities of the outlawed group.

Our correspondent reliably gathered that his farm was used to habour the families of the militant sect, where he was later arrested after a fierce gun battle with security operatives.

After he was arrested, the former commissioner demanded to meet the state governor, Senator Ali Sheriff, who was not in the office when he was taken, hands tied, to the Government House. The late Alhaji Buji was later carried to the police Headquarters where he was killed.

Meanwhile, relative peace has been restored in Maiduguri the state capital. Our correspondent who went round Maiduguri reports that after almost one week of mayhem, which saw people locked up in their houses and the streets deserted, normalcy has started to return.

there is no report of him attending any school in Nigeria, not even primary school, though its is speculated that he attends a Koranic graduate school in Saudia but drop out. Certainly he is a man of letter, educated in Islamic religion. His previous interviews depict a man knowledgeable and versed in happenings around him. Definitely he must be educated to have convinced lecturers, graduates, to join his group. Though he is said to be a great orator, with charm and charisma, what the Hausa people called , "farin jini".

The question that beg for an answer:

Why would Yaradua, or whoever is in control, sanction the brutal murder and execution of his own people?

the idea that Boko Haram are the alternative op postion to the government in the north is baseless. Can Boko haram really stop PDP from controlling north? I doubt it. In Nigeria election is rigged, PDP does not need Boko Haram to rig election

Moreover Boko Haram members dont participate in government, and the leader encourage member to resign their appointment in Government

I haven't seen any prominent northerner who has categorically condemned this senseless killings and execution. All condemnation are coming from southerners who are calling for inquiry. How can the security agents gun down more than 700 hundred people without their closest relatives raising a voice. This northern elites and political class are truly animals, devoid of feelings
