Hmmmmm! First City Monument Bank - N177.09 million; Fidelity Bank - N44.5 million; Guaranty Trust Bank - N6.05 million; Sterling Bank - N13 million; United Bank for Africa - NN2.968 billion; Union Bank - N46.28 million Wema Bank - N8.087 million and Zenith Bank paid N60.1 million respectively. These fines don't even appear to be enough for all the violations these banks commit on a regular especially Fidelity Bank. 10 Likes |

Nice one. There must be consequences at all levels. That is one of the mistake the last administration did. Every thing was free for all without any consequence. 1 Like 1 Share |

They thought it was still the era of Ineffectual buffoon were they could get away with any atrocities committed without any punishment. Could see some e-goats on the thread about PMB's agreement with the Chinese government on YUAN displaying their ignorance. They will surely wail about everything. Now our banks can boycott dollars and stack up YUAN, at least 1 Yuan is still 31 Naira. No more banks strangling the masses by the neck with their black market exchange rate for Dollars. God Bless PMB/PYO God Bless Nigeria God Bless Everyone who believe in this govt God Bless me and my Family 3 Likes |

It not business as usual... If the DG couldn't recall maybe he or she need someone to tell him/her that they own duty to the public interest and not for there selfish interest.CBN also should let us know how the fine is been used cause if not for the statement of financial report of the Fine Banks this wouldn't have leck out... 1 Like |
