A Facebook user, King Tino shared this story on his timeline. He said a teenager who tried to steal a phone in Sapele, Delta state had his hand cut off by the home owner. The teen boy slipped his hand through the open window of the home and tried to grab a phone that was lying there, unfortunately for him, the home owner saw his hand, picked up a cutlass and chopped off the teenager's hand.

The teenager ran away and left his hand behind. He was later found at the hospital being treated in the photo above. Photos of the cut off hand after the cut..

There is no word if his hand will be reattached or not.

Dude!!!!! You didn't even warn us about graphic content. I didn't brace myself for impact at all!!!! We call that hand chopping the "Jaime Lannister" effect. I feel sorry for the boy and I don't feel sorry for him. My bipolar acting up again.... grin

See, this was the ideal time to use the world ''graphic'' and you failed too do so.

Anyway I think the punishment was too much. The homeowner was just being wicked. He could have just hit the back of the cutlass really hard on the wrist, causing him severe pains and maybe even fractures, but not this

Nigerians and jungle justice sha. In the USA, the person that chopped of the boy's hand will be prosecuted. I was driving the other day when I hit an okada rider and he was badly injured. In less that 2 minuites, angry mobs had already gathered my car and were contemplating burning it. They had already even damaged the windshield. Thank god for the police who came to my rescue that day. Just allow the law to take its course for once nigerians.
