A new mother complained that her baby seem not to get fully fed on breast milk alone, hence had to get an infont formula.
The way her baby is feeding is raising some challenge in the family. Her baby of less than two months finishes a tin of infant formular in a week despite still being supported on breast milk. She concluded that babies of nowadays must have extra chamber in their tummy as cannot fanthom how the child feed this much, NOTE: this is not her first child. On the husband part, parting with about N2,200 weekly in this crunch economic times is an issue not including sanitary pads etc.
Please recent mothers in the house, how old is your baby and how long does it take finish a tin of infant formula?

hmm it varies per child, mine finishes a tin in Two and half days she is about 6 months.
some finish it it within two days.

All that a baby of less than 6 months needs can be found in breast milk.
There is no justification for saying that a baby of 2 months seems not to be fully fed on breast milk alone.
It is just a lie.

It is just laziness on the part of mothers that make them avoid exclusive breastfeeding.

Since you're too lazy for exclusive breastfeeding, don't complain about how fast ur baby moves from one tin of formula to the next.

I think you've just a little bit over generalised
. I agree with fact that some mothers do not like to breastfeed. But Laziness? Does breast feeding exert such hard work?
What will you say about a mother who after several minutes of breastfeeding says her breast is empty and she is feeling dry and dizzy yet the baby is still crying for more

if your baby eats too much you increase food intake as the mum that lady is looking to stay slim so she should deal with it y do you think nursing mum's eat more she should eat more increase her food intake

she's not feeding well that's y she's not producing lots of milk she should eat well take lots of pap, tea, and liquids so her milk will flow well that way her baby will eat well if not de should deal with de cost

noo if de are twins she should give them milk but eat well so her breast milk can flow better that way de will breastfeed more then use milk formula to supplement it's not easy I pity her God will help her hubby should stop complaining it's not her fault when de are up to 4 months she can introduce pap but very light one let her just endure it will soon be over God bless her and de twin

it's not easy to exclusively breastfeed twins I doubt she can let her just be giving milk 3times daily then breast feed at interval it's not easy
