It is no longer a news that being an INDEGENE of a particular state comes with some benefits and part of it is when it comes to using that as criteria to gaining admission and the amount to be paid as school fees in our higher institutions of learning.
The disaparity is even more vivid in state owned institution of learning.Imagine an indegene of Imo state not paying school fees,likewise in kwara state university where indegene pay half of what non indegene pays as school fees.
In other to enjoy the above and coupled with the fact that this certificate are easy to come by in our various local government once you are ready to pay,most candidate are tempted to change or lie about their initial state of origin.
Sequel to the above,is there any future consequences to changing ones state of origin for the purpose of admission?
