Our client, who is a leader in the retail fashion industry in West Africa, is seeking to hire a smart, result-oriented individual to manage its Business Processes and Quality Assurance unit. Responsibilities: Business Process Improvement and training • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the organization’s business functions and initiate process improvements where applicable. • Identify main areas of poor processes and work to improve with process owners. • Drive process related projects organization -wide by coordinating the parties involved and ensuring that all work is completed within the defined timeline. • Establish mechanisms for planning, completing and monitoring process changes for projects, including the assessment. • Participate in training of all staff on the purpose of standard operating procedures. Business Process Documentation, Monitoring and Audit • Document new and review existing business process documents, ensure its accessibility to process owners. • Design clear audit documents for use in assessing the degree of compliance or adherence to standard operating procedures. • Work with Audit team to drive and conduct quarterly, biannual and annual process audit within the business units in Ruff n Tumble. • Define and apply a structured process management approach and methodology to monitor adherence to departmental processes and procedures. Quality Strategy/Planning/Management • Work with management in defining the Quality statement/strategy of the organisation. • Develop quality related policies to ensure alignment to the strategy. • Research ways to improve and promote quality. • Perform and manage audits of quality system to required level and close on corrective actions. Personal Management & Development • Continuously update and improve knowledge, skill and competence with regards to the job especially via reading and research. • Take responsibility of being up to date with regards to changing trends in business process and quality management systems. • Apply and invest in relevant courses / training. Educational Qualification and Experience • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Management • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role Competencies • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage a team. • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. • Excellent Interpersonal skills; written and oral communication skills • Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office especially Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Personality • A process-oriented and able to execute to specification. • Demonstrate independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy and professional demeanor. • Amiable personality Apply Now Qualified and Interested candidates should click on the link to apply: http://thejobmag.com/jobs/available/41/snr-business-process-quality-assurance-executive |
