I think there is more to the problem of this country, to solve the problem of this country will take a lot of time and process which cannot be achieved by one man alone or in four years....politics apart...if we all sit down to analyze without prejudice or biasness of any form, we would agree with me that the problem of our great nation Nigeria is not formed in one day and can't be solved in four years...... I am not asking for time for anybody or passing blame on any but just expressing my personal opinion and the need for all to contribute to the development of the great country rather than expecting miracle from a man....... I sat to think about many thing that has gone wrong in our country and I will discuss just two (2) of these fundamental issues.
(1)Moral and ethical degradation: I believe we are learned and so don't need to go into any form of definition. The moral and ethical standard of the nation has drastically dropped. For instance in the good old days a father will stop the child from afar to question who gave the child what he/she is bringing home, people never want to hear of going to the police station, when someone is free/completes his jail term, the relative will relocate him so as for him not to be associated with any the family.....today what do we have? Someone will commit crime and he will hire 3 SAN, 10 lawyers and go with a convoy of about 30 exortic cars to court/jail and when he is released his convoy will go pick him straight to church for thanksgiving. When last did the TV broadcast a brilliant youth who is successful in his education/business? We are morally degraded to such an extent that we now see abnormal things as normal ...... Many of us are quick to blame the people in government but I tell you the difference between us is just opportunity some of us if placed in their shoes will do worse.......
