I made a subscription earlier this month for the 6Gig plan which expired 29/7/2016 (evening)
I got a message to that effect notifying me of the expiration of the Subscription.

Subsequently, I made a #2500 recharge, with the intention of subscribing for the 10Gig Monthly plan.
But, to my utter dismay, I was automatically reactivated for the 6Gig plan which I don't intend using.

That's where the problem is, Automatic renewal should come up when one has the credit before expiration, not after expiration of a plan (For situations like this).

I will want Glo to look into this and help rectify, the resultant loss in value of 4Gig when the necessary amount for its subscription is beyond ignoring.

Usually they send message asking you to send cancel if you don't want auto renewal, didn't you get it?

Contacting glo customer care via email, helpline or their twitter handle would be a faster way to go about this. And next time, endeavor to deactivate the automatic renewal.

Unfortunately, didn't get such text
Neither did I receive any text confirming the reactivation of my data.

For the advise in regards using Twitter and co, I'll do just that, appreciate the tip.

Hopefully, empathy will be shown.
