Sad we lost but we go out of that game with our heads held high. It is easy to say horrible match and heap blames on the players.

What a lot of people do not get is that outside talents and hardwork, there is also preparation. The Germans have worked for years on playing a particular way. During League breaks, they hold seminars with all the coaches, improving their games. They have Youth projects that have the kids playing a particular way.

Them beating us was not a surprise. The Germans worked hard on pressing the midfield and the defence. That made it very difficult for our players to keep the ball and attack.

I hope this Dream Team wins the Bronze medal. They worked hard, showed determination and Belief. This was a team we can applaud and they deserve a medal for their hard work.

So what does that say about Nigeria and Nigerians- that we are not serious then. Since it is well known that beta countries put together by their forefathers answering a name that reflects who they are take many things such as soccer serious, we the former (and current) British named and created country have our heads stuck in our Nyash. See us hiring a quack Oyibo to coach us. See Siasia putting players that even by stature have no business on the team-but because of surname they are there...

The guys have tried. After all the BS that surrounded this tournament, being stranded in Atlanta for 3 days, arriving mere hours before kick off against Japan, and to top it all, they were still owed their due wages. They should put this match behind them and focus on the bronze medal match against Honduras, Ekong in particular impressed me in defense.

This was the case with confederations cup, even during previous ANC tournaments, and over and over again.

You know why?
